Call for Proposals: Support to Local Initiatives to Prevent and Improve Response to VAWG in Public Spaces

UN Women Office in Serbia is inviting civil society organizations (CSOs) registered in Serbia, that have gender equality, women’s rights and/or antidiscrimination set as one of the organization’s goals in Statute and have specialized knowledge, expertise and track record of working on gender equality and/or gender-based violence to submit project proposals. Experience in safety in public spaces and gender sensitive urban planning will be considered as district asset.

This Call for Proposals is launched to Support to Local Initiatives to Prevent and Improve Response to VAWG in Public Spaces under the UK funded project “Safety of women and girls in public spaces”

Project proposals should include development and implementation of one or more activities envisaged to increase safety of women and girls in public spaces. CSOs are expected to submit proposals that will address safety needs of the women and girls in public spaces in municipalities of Kragujevac, Kruševac, Sombor, Novi Pazar and Niš.
