In focus: EXPO 2024
As a unique collaborative platform dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial landscape for women across Europe and Central Asia, the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO was launched in 2021 by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Yıldız Holding. The EXPO has since become a cornerstone of the global Women’s Entrepreneurship Accelerator, supported by Mary Kay.
Since its launch, the EXPO has become a movement that spotlights the accomplishments of women in the entrepreneurial landscape across the region. It is a vibrant community of women-helping-women and supports women entrepreneurs in becoming the architects of the new global economy. The EXPO cultivates relationships, collaboration, networking, peer learning, idea generation,skills enhancement and business expansion opportunities for women entrepreneurs, investors and private sector stakeholders. It also amplifies the visibility of women-led enterprises and fosters inclusive markets and value chains that empower women entrepreneurs.

EXPO 2024
For the fourth time in a row, the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO 2024 will unite women entrepreneurs, investors, and business partners from across Europe and Central Asia as the largest networking event for women-owned and -led businesses in the region.
Taking place from 26 – 27 November, the virtual event will feature discussions led by world-renowned experts covering various topics such as digital marketing, financing, e-commerce and crowdfunding, gender-responsive procurement, green economy, and pitching.
What to expect at the EXPO?
- Empowering masterclasses: Engage in expert workshops and panel discussions featuring successful women entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and industry experts. Learn about the latest trends, strategies, and tools to accelerate your business.
- B2C & B2B networking: Connect with a diverse community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and potential collaborators. Forge invaluable connections that can take your business to new heights.
- Inspiring success stories: Listen to success stories from women who have overcome challenges and achieved remarkable success in their entrepreneurial journeys. Be inspired by their resilience, determination, and dedication.
- Exhibition space: Explore an array of businesses owned and run by women entrepreneurs. Discover unique products and services while supporting women-led enterprises.
- Panels and keynote addresses: Gain insights from keynote speakers who have shattered glass ceilings and carved out their own paths to success. Get ready to be motivated and inspired by their invaluable experiences.
Throughout the EXPO, participants will have access to empowering workshops that include successful women entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and industry experts. Workshop topics include: role of AI in entrepreneurship, practical tools for marketing, accessing capitals for women entrepreneurs, readiness for angel investments and many more.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends, strategies, and tools to accelerate their businesses and connect with a diverse community of women entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and potential collaborators.
Women entrepreneurs will also have the chance to showcase their products and services at the virtual expo booths, which are themed according to various sectors such as agriculture, building and construction, media and communication, ICT and telecommunications, training and education, clothing, fashion and textiles, trade, transport and logistics, healthcare, tourism and hospitality, food products, retail, jewelry and accessories, and the environment.
The EXPO 2024 is organized by the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia in partnership with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Yıldız Holding as part of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Accelerator.
While the event will be in English, simultaneous translation will be provided in several languages from across Europe and Central Asia.
SATELLITE EVENTS
In addition to the regional Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO event, UN Women hosts a series of satellite events in countries across the region to provide a space for women entrepreneurs, women-led businesses, investors, mentors, government officials and other partners to gather in person, network, exchange best practices and learn from national experts.
