UN Women facilitated the successful adoption of gender equality and women’s empowerment as a stand-alone pillar in the UN Development Cooperation Strategy (UNDCS) 2016-2020 and its mainstreaming under six outcomes. As Chair and Secretariat of the UN Turkey Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Result Group, UN Women Turkey supports delivery and monitoring of these outcomes.
