Generation Equality Europe and Central Asia Youth Forum

The engagement of youths in addressing inequalities play a vital role for the future and joint action by youth leaders can enrich institutions, create innovative solutions for long-standing issues and shape an equal future where new generations’ voices are considered in decision-making. At the same time, young people face serious challenges and life-threatening risks globally, disproportionately carried by girls and young women as clearly put forward in Youth 2030, UN Youth Strategy. They constitute an invaluable asset worth investing in to build a more sustainable and equal world. Effective and meaningful youth engagement and leadership are a necessity to unleash this potential.

The Generation Equality Europe and Central Asia Youth Forum will convene on 6 - 8 December 2022 in Istanbul to discuss progress and next steps for youth engagement and meaningful contribution to the Generation Equality initiative.
