Conducting gender sensitive legal reviews of legislation in gender and rural development and promote the monitoring and implementation of legal frameworks on gender and rural development. Developing and carry out educational and awareness raising campaigns about women’s rights, including property rights, access to finance and funding among women and girls in rural areas.

UN Women plans to engage a Responsible Party as defined in accordance with these documents. UN Women now invites sealed proposals from qualified proponents to provide the requirements as defined in the UN Women Terms of Reference.

Under the project “Empower Women for Rural Development in Northern Albania funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through AICS Tirana, UN Women Albania is seeking to identify a Responsible Party to conduct strategic legal review and advocacy efforts around issues that are relevant for women living in rural areas, such as women’s economic empowerment and property rights, monitoring the implementation of legal commitments that advance gender equality in rural areas, to name a few, including developing and carry out educational and awareness raising campaigns among women and girls in rural areas. 

The budget range for this proposal should be: All proposals under this Call must fall within a maximum of 7,000,000 ALL.

Proposals must be received by UN Women at the address specified not later than 23:59 on 17 April 2025.
