UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia ECARO and the Beijing+30 Civil Society Steering Committee are launching a series of online consultations to gather crucial input from civil society organizations (CSOs) across the region ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPfA). The insights gathered will directly inform the upcoming regional review process, culminating in the UNECE Regional Review Meeting in Geneva on October 21-22, 2024.
The first session will focus on key themes of the BPfA:
- Inclusive development, shared prosperity, and decent work
- Poverty eradication, social protection, and social services
The second session will create a space for discussion on:
- Freedom from violence, stigma, and stereotypes
- Peaceful and inclusive societies
