The satellite event of EXPO 2023 will convene 10 investors and 25 women entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans in a single venue. The main goal is to enhance dialogue and promote the exchange of best practices on topics vital to women's entrepreneurship in the country and region, fostering cooperation and networking between entrepreneurs and investors.
Specifically, the event aims to:
- Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information among entrepreneurs concerning business growth, innovation, business transformation, and the availability of sources of financing.
- Inform entrepreneurs about the concept of the upcoming Women's Entrepreneurship EXPO 2023 and its potential as an opportunity for business improvement.
- Support networking and the establishment of business cooperation between entrepreneurs and investors through joint workshops.
- Strengthen skills and knowledge in the field of human resource management through a guided workshop focused on personality profiling, motivation, and future plans.
The event is scheduled to take place prior to the Women's Entrepreneurship EXPO 2023, from November 16-17. It will serve as a continuation of the Business Angels Summit (BAS), organized by Foundation 787 with the support of UN Women and other donors. BAS is the only event that unites individual investors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Western Balkans, dedicated to contributing to the growth of the local business and startup scene through their involvement and financial investments.
