Event description
The online marathon on “Women leaders in digital space” aims to promote the digital empowerment of women in Ukraine to accelerate the sustainable recovery of the country in response the recent crises including the COVID-19 pandemic and the large-scale Russian invasion.
The event will bring women from across Ukraine, including vulnerable women to boost their knowledge and digital skills through a series of sessions on digital literacy, women’s leadership in digital spaces, available digital tools and services and women’s digital empowerment.
The event will further expand on the successes of the ongoing work on the digital empowerment of women piloted in different regions of the country, boosting the knowledge and capacities of vulnerable women to support their access to digital services.
The online marathon is organized by UN Women Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ukrainian Library Association, Academy of Digital Development and Google Ukraine with financial support from the Global Affairs Canada.
