Programme Brief: Making Every Woman and Girl Count

The UN Women regional flagship programme, ‘Making Every Woman and Girl Count’ (Women Count), aims to create a radical shift in how gender statistics are used, produced and promoted to inform gender equality policy and advocacy in Europe and Central Asia. The programme takes action under three key areas: creating an enabling environment, increasing data production and improving data accessibility and use.
