Gender, Crisis and Conflict Analysis Tool

This publication aims to fill the existing gaps on guidance on how to conduct a step-by-step gender and crisis analysis for UN Women, Resident Coordination Offices, United Nations Country teams (UNCTs), UN entities, as well as UN partners in the ECA region. It builds on the various tools developed by UN entities, notably the UN Women gender and conflict analysis tool of 2012, regional organizations and civil society organizations; and complements the UNs Conflict and Development Analysis tool (CDA). This publication was developed in coordination with Peace and Development Advisors (PDAs) as well as Human Rights Advisors (HRAs); and aims at guiding practitioners to develop peacebuilding programming that is anchored in gender equality.
