The brief on "Strengthening Women's Access to Justice" provides detailed information on the objectives and expected results of the project. The project will be implemented over the course of 15 months. With the overall objective to increase women and girls’ access to justice, the project aims to strengthen the implementation of Law No. 6284 on Protection of Family and the Prevention of Violence against Women (VAW), which is the primary piece of legislation codifying preventive and protective measures for violence against women and girls (VAWG) incidents and risks, free from gender-based stereotypes and in a survivor-centred manner.

During the implementation period, the capacity of judges and public prosecutors to effectively implement Law No. 6284 in line with the international legal framework, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), will be strengthened within Result 1. Within Result 2, various tools will be developed to improve the performance of Legal Support and Victim Services Directorates and to enhance their accessibility to women.

This brief outlines the project's indicators, targets, time frame, and budget.
