National gender profile of agriculture and rural livelihoods: Bosnia and Herzegovina

This is a flagship country gender assessment report of agriculture and rural livelihoods for Bosnia and Herzegovina that represents the first structured and all-encompassing attempt to collect and analyse the available secondary data and development indicators for the country, while applying a gender perspective throughout this process. It is a collaborative initiative, jointly undertaken by FAO and UN Women under the “Delivering as one” approach, which the UN family endorses throughout its development work. This report consolidates the fragmented pieces of gender statistics and sex-disaggregated data, and insights from expert stakeholders, into one “snapshot” assessment, while also highlighting critical gaps in the data.
