The ten gender budget analyses for the Municipalities of Aerodrom, Bitola, Gjorche Petrov, Gostivar, Kochani, Kriva Palanka, Shtip, Strumica, Sveti Nikole, and Veles provide data and evidence on the impact of COVID-19 on gender responsive programmes. The analyses provide policy and budget recommendations to municipalities in engendering the selected local programmes and budgets to better respond to the post-emergency needs of women and men.

This report was produced in the framework of the UN Women project “Promoting gender responsive policies and budgets: Towards transparent, inclusive and accountable governance in the Republic of North Macedonia”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
