Gender Equality in Political Leadership and Participation in Turkey Project Information Brochure

This brochure is prepared as a short information document about the Gender Equality and Political Leadership Project which aims to support women's political leadership and participation in Turkey. The Project is being implemented by UN Women in partnership with the Committee on Equal Opportunity for Women and Men (EOC) of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) and the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The Project is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The TGNA is the main beneficiary of the Project. Civil society organizations working on gender equality at the local and national levels are another group of stakeholders who are crucial to the Project.
