Call for Proposals: Capacity Development of Service Providers/Shelters (Only for Kosovo[1])

UN Women invites women organizations , civil society organizations promoting women’s rights and gender equality to submit proposals to strengthen capacities of service providers to implement the relevant international standards, including those provided in the Convention of Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention) and improve services provide to women survivors of violence to contribute to the implementation of the Programme Ending Discrimination and Violence against Women: Implementing Norms, Changing Minds. The Programme aims at ending gender based discrimination and violence against women, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged groups of women, in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

Organizations that wish to participate in this Call for Proposals are requested to send all required application documents in one email to info.kosovo@unwomen.org indicating in the e-mail subject: EVAW - CfP EVAW Capacity Development of Service Providers/Shelters.

By 8 September 2017, 17:00 (Kosovo local time).

Proposals received after the date and time may not be accepted for consideration.

UN Women will acknowledge receipt of the applications through a confirmation e‐mail. Only those short listed shall be considered and further contacted.
