CSO consultations

UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (ECARO) and the Beijing+30 Civil Society Steering Committee continue the series of online consultations to gather crucial input from civil society organizations (CSOs) in the region, in anticipation of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPfA).

The third consultation will focus on the following critical areas of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action: “Participation, accountability, and gender-responsive institutions” and “Environmental conservation, protection, and rehabilitation.”

The insights collected will directly inform the upcoming regional review process, culminating in the Beijing+30 Regional Review Meeting in Geneva on October 21-22, 2024.

UN Women ECARO and the Beijing+30 Civil Society Steering Committee encourage all interested CSOs to actively participate in this dialogue, share their experiences, and contribute to shaping the future of gender equality in the region.
