What is Art-Kazan?

Art-Kazan is a unique program designed for creative talents from across Central Asia to participate in an online training on data, a four-day immersive art residency in the heart of Central Asia, and a platform to showcase their work at an international exhibition. Art-Kazan stands as a symbol of Central Asia’s rich multicultural diversity and provides a space where various national contexts can merge into unique art products advancing gender equality.

The primary objective of this initiative is to delve into contemporary art by harnessing the power of gender data for positive change.

Who is this for?

Art-Kazan welcomes all creative minds who are eager to produce their own art pieces, utilizing gender data for change. Whether your art product is a tangible object or an interactive piece, as long as it can be showcased as part of an exhibition, we are excited to support you in your creative journey.

Main requirements: you must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration and hold citizenship in one of the Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
