SADA Women Empowerment and Solidarity Center empowers both Syrian and Turkish women

Located in Gaziantep, Turkey, our SADA Women Empowerment and Solidarity Center provides gender sensitive services for both Syrian and Turkish women. As of 2019, the center has offered services to more than 5000 women and organized social cohesion activities to more than 2800 women. 50 percent of the women benefiting from the center are at-risk individuals with vulnerabilities.

Georgian Rugby players once again unite for the "Sportsmen UNiTE against Violence against Women Campaign” that has been run in their country to support UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women Campaign. The campaign is supported by the UN Joint Programme “Enhancing Gender Equality in Georgia” and funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The UN Joint Programme in Georgia is implemented by UN Women, UNFPA and UNDP.
