Syrian women help shape the first Global Refugee Forum

Syrian refugee women from Gaziantep shared their experiences, insights, and recommendations as part of the preparation for the first Global Refugee Forum. Gathered under the roof of SADA Women’s Empowerment and Solidarity Center, they have shared their recommendations and demands for empowering women in crisis. The SADA Center operates under UN Women led project “Strengthening the resilience of Syrian women and girls and host communities” financed by the European Union and the Government of Japan. The project is implemented in partnership with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, International Labour Organisation, and the Association for Asylum Seekers and Migrants.
