Historic law in Moldova proposes equal representation of women and men in decision-making

In 2016, the Republic of Moldova adopted Law 71, which proposes an equal representation of women and men in decision-making processes. So, to be able to play, study, create, work and lead development locally and nationally, decisions need to be made together by women and men. This video was developed by the UN Programme "Women in Politics", in partnership with URMA TA. The UN Programme "Women in Politics" was implemented by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with East Europe Foundation (EEF) and “Partnership for Development” Center (CPD), funded by the Government of Sweden.
