Poland Refugee Response: Consultation with women's led and civil society organizations

Organized in Warsaw, Poland under the 2023 Poland Regional Refugee Response Plan and co-facilitated by UN Women and the Polish Migration Forum, a half-day consultation was held with local women’s led organizations (WLOs), women’s rights organizations (WROs), and other organizations working on gender equality in the Ukraine refugee response. The aim of the consultation was to bring together women’s organizations and those working on gender equality issues to identify common challenges, lessons learned and opportunities as well as recommendations for strengthening gender mainstreaming in the refugee response in Poland.

Developed by UN Women as part of the Regional Refugee Response, this document is a summary of key findings and recommendations from the consultation, which can be used to inform ongoing and future refugee response efforts in Poland.
