This manual is designed to assist civil society organizations in implementation of outreach and empowerment initiatives for increased participation of women in local decision-making processes. The goal of the manual is to provide guidelines for civil society organizations on the most successful methods and practices for ensuring greater inclusion of women in the public policy-making processes on the local level and strengthen their influence in the community.

The publication was produced in the framework of the UN Women regional project “Promoting Gender Responsive Polices in South-East Europe and the Republic of Moldova”, financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
