Call for proposals: Increased access to services for woman and girl survivors of violence and implementation of prevention initiatives in Turkey, under the programme ¨Ending Violence against Women: Implementing Norms, Changing Minds¨

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is inviting civil society organizations/non-governmental organizations working on gender equality and ending violence against women from a women’s rights perspective to submit proposals that aim at:

Activity 1) Implementing innovative strategies that contribute to communities’ greater understanding of favourable attitudes and behaviours towards gender equality and ending violence against women

Activity 2) Promoting the right of women to receive information about general and specialist support services available for women victims of violence and discrimination, as well as their right to access these services

Organizations that wish to participate in this Call for Proposals are requested to send all required application documents in one email to eca.evawproject@unwomen.org indicating in the e-mail subject: EVAW Turkey - CfP prevention/access to services.

Deadline: 8 March 2019, 23:00 (Turkey local time)

Proposals received after the date and time may not be accepted for consideration.

UN Women will acknowledge receipt of the applications through a confirmation e‐mail. Only those short listed shall be considered and further contacted.
