How time is used in Albania for work and free time is highly gender related. Co-published by the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT)  and UN Women, the Albania Time Use Survey 2010-2011 uses data from the 2010 Albanian Time Use Survey to examine time use in Albania for those aged 10 years and older between March 2010 to February 2011. The main goal of the Albania Time Use Survey is to develop nationally representative estimates of how people divide their work time in various life activities. Because it uses Harmonised European Time Use Survey (HETUS) guidelines, the Albania Time Use Survey can produce internationally comparable results.
