UN Women Turkey kicks off the project on Gender Responsive Budgeting

Together with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, UN Women Turkey initiated the three-year project "Implementing Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting in Turkey". The project aims to eradicate gender inequalities and create a society where everyone has access to equal and just rights, opportunities, and services.

Girls Can Ride Bicycles in the Pamirs - Training Day

“Girls Can Ride Bicycles in the Pamirs” project is created by #YOUthLead workshop participant Safina Shohaydarova. Inspired by her childhood dreams, Safina provided bicycles and riding trainings to the local girls living in Khorog at the Pamirs. Turkish boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu shares her message

Turkish boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu shared her message about her experiences as a female boxer with HeForShe Turkey before going to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. She won the silver medal at the Olympics and became the first Turkish female boxer to win a medal in Olympic history. With her success, she's continuing to punch gender stereotypes in sports.
