Call for Proposal (CFP) for Responsible Parties Civil Society Organizations: Women Economic Empowerment activities within Action Now, Result Now: Women and Youth organizations lead transformative actions to eliminate violence against women and girls in the Kyrgyz Republic

EN The Call for Proposal seeks qualified civil society organizations to implement Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) interventions that strengthen women’s access to economic opportunities, networks, resources, and markets. Selected partners will organize high-level WEE forums, generate evidence on barriers to women’s economic participation, engage private sector actors, promote gender-responsive workplace practices, and establish partnerships to advance inclusive economic empowerment and contribute to preventing violence against women and girls in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Under the Zero VAWG Initiative, the UN Women Country Office seeks to engage qualified women-led civil society organizations (CSOs) and youth organizations to design and implement high-impact, community-based interventions aimed at preventing and responding to violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Selected partners will be expected to contribute to the achievement of the project’s outcome and outputs by advancing women’s economic empowerment in the Kyrgyz Republic. This will include expanding women’s access to economic resources, financial inclusion, market opportunities, and support services; strengthening capacities and networks for knowledge-sharing; promoting gender equality and positive social norms; and contributing to the prevention of violence against women and girls.

RU Данный запрос предложений от Организаций Гражданского Общества (ОГО) направлен на привлечение квалифицированных организаций гражданского общества для реализации мероприятий по расширению экономических возможностей женщин (Women’s Economic Empowerment — WEE), направленных на укрепление доступа женщин к экономическим возможностям, сетям, ресурсам и рынкам. Выбранные партнеры будут организовывать форумы высокого уровня по WEE, проводить исследования барьеров для экономического участия женщин, привлекать представителей частного сектора, продвигать гендерно-чувствительные практики на рабочих местах и развивать партнерства для содействия инклюзивному экономическому расширению прав и возможностей женщин и предотвращению насилия в отношении женщин и девочек в Кыргызской Республике.

The budget range for this proposal should be Min USD 220 000 – Max. USD 235 000

Please note that selected Programme Partner will be assumed to have accepted al legal terms of conditions present in the Partner Agreement - attached. Besides, the selected Programme Partner will accept to register and seek for verification on the UN Partner Portal an online platform designed to streamline and enhance collaboration between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and various UN agencies. The UNPP is a joint initiative involving agencies such as IOM, UN Secretariat, UN Women, FAO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, and WHO with operational support from UNICC, aimed at simplifying partnership processes and fostering effective cooperation.
