Call for Proposal (CFP) for Responsible Parties Civil Society Organizations: Action Now, Result Now: Women and Youth organizations lead transformative actions to eliminate violence against women and girls in the Kyrgyz Republic/LOT I and II

EN. UN Women invites qualified women-led civil society and youth organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic to implement community-based interventions under the Zero VAWG Initiative. Partners will strengthen organizational capacities, co-create and implement the “Zero VAWG Community” model, promote positive social norms, engage communities in preventing violence against women and girls, build sustainable partnerships, and advance digital communication, advocacy, knowledge-sharing, and learning for lasting impact.
Under the Zero VAWG Initiative, the UN Women Country Office seeks to engage qualified women-led civil society organizations (CSOs) and youth organizations to design and implement high-impact, community-based interventions aimed at preventing and responding to violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the Kyrgyz Republic. Selected partners will be expected to contribute to the achievement of the project’s outcome and outputs, with a strong focus on community, institution-level transformation, capacity development, and promotion of positive social norms. The Applicant should demonstrate how their proposed methodology contributes simultaneously to Outputs 1, 2 and the complementary activities under Output 3 rather than treating them as isolated interventions.

Структура «ООН-женщины» приглашает женские организации гражданского общества и молодежные организации Кыргызской Республики к реализации инициатив в рамках программы «Нулевая терпимость к насилию в отношении женщин и девочек (Zero VAWG)». Партнеры будут укреплять организационный потенциал, совместно разрабатывать и внедрять модель «Сообщество без насилия», продвигать позитивные социальные нормы, вовлекать сообщества в предотвращение насилия в отношении женщин и девочек, развивать устойчивые партнерства, а также усиливать цифровую коммуникацию, адвокацию, обмен знаниями и извлеченными уроками для достижения долгосрочных результатов.
The budget range for this proposal should be:
- LOT I: Min. USD 480’000 – Max. USD 515’000
- LOT II: Min. USD 650’000 – Max. USD 685’000
Proposals must be received by UN Women at the address specified not later than 17:00 Bishkek time on 26 July 2026.

Please note that selected Programme Partner will be assumed to have accepted al legal terms of conditions present in the Partner Agreement - attached. Besides, the selected Programme Partner will accept to register and seek for verification on the UN Partner Portal an online platform designed to streamline and enhance collaboration between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and various UN agencies. The UNPP is a joint initiative involving agencies such as IOM, UN Secretariat, UN Women, FAO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, and WHO with operational support from UNICC, aimed at simplifying partnership processes and fostering effective cooperation.
