The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Moldova Office plans to select an organization (Civil Society Organizations, registered in Moldova to Strengthen Women's Leadership, Institutional Gender Awareness, and Youth Forestry Education in Moldova

The Call encourages proposals that advance women’s meaningful participation and leadership in community, institutional, and environmental decision‑making processes, while also fostering gender awareness within public institutions and local structures. In parallel, the CfP promotes innovative approaches to women’s engagement in forestry and environmental education, with particular emphasis on building awareness of climate change, sustainable natural resource management, and green practices among young people.

Selected civil society organizations will implement time‑bound, results‑oriented interventions that demonstrate clear gender equality outcomes, institutional capacity strengthening, and community‑level impact.

The total budget available for this call for proposal is up to USD 50,000.00The proposals are expected to start from June 2026 and be implemented until May 2027UN Women invites eligible applicants to submit their proposal, as elaborated in this advertisement.

The UNPP is a joint initiative involving agencies such as IOM, UN Secretariat, UN Women, FAO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, and WHO with operational support from UNICC, aimed at simplifying partnership processes and fostering effective cooperation.
