Call For Proposals (CFP) for Responsible Party (Civil Society Organization - CSO) to implement local initiatives for preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence

UN Women plans to engage a Responsible Party as defined in accordance with these documents. UN Women now invites sealed proposals from qualified proponents to provide the requirements as defined in the UN Women Terms of Reference. 

This call for proposals is announced in the framework of the Project “EVOLVE4GE: Ending Violence, Expanding Livelihood Opportunities for Women and Accelerating Gender Governance in Moldova” funded by the European Union and implemented by UN Women.

Through this Call for Proposals, UN Women, within EVOLVE4GE project, funded by European Union seeks to establish a Partner Agreement with a civil society organization in Moldova to act as a Responsible Party to implement local initiatives for preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, women empowerment, in cooperation with Local Public Authorities (LPAs).

The proposal should be aligned with the "Leaving No One Behind" approach and focus on survivor-centered response to violence against women and domestic violence (VAW and DV). 

The proposed intervention budget request should be for a minimum of USD 50,000 and a maximum of USD 60,000. The proposals are expected to start from July 2026 and be implemented within a period of 12 months and to be completed not later than end of July 2027.

Please note that selected Programme Partner will be assumed to have accepted al legal terms of conditions present in the Partner Agreement - attached. Besides, the selected Programme Partner will accept to register and seek for verification on the UN Partner Portal an online platform designed to streamline and enhance collaboration between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and various UN agencies. The UNPP is a joint initiative involving agencies such as IOM, UN Secretariat, UN Women, FAO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, and WHO with operational support from UNICC, aimed at simplifying partnership processes and fostering effective cooperation.
