Call for Proposals: Enhancing the position of women in Serbia to decrease risk of discrimination and gender-based violence

Submission deadline: 21 March 2025

UN Women Office in Serbia is inviting civil society organizations (CSOs) registered in Serbia, that have gender equality, women’s rights and/or anti-discrimination set as one of the organization’s goals in Statute, and have specialized knowledge, expertise and track record of working on gender equality, improving the status of women in the labour market and their economic empowerment.

Under this Call for Proposals, women’s CSOs will be supported to implement measures contributing to reducing the risk of discrimination and gender-based violence among marginalized groups of women through implementation of tailored economic empowerment measures. CSOs are expected to submit proposals that will address specific needs of women, especially women from marginalized groups and work towards increased availability of services that will enable them to access the labour market and/or support women entrepreneurship. Also, CSOs should propose activities to challenge gender stereotypes and gender-based discrimination. This CfP is implemented in partnership with the Commissioner for Protection of Equality under the SIDA funded Joint project ‘Ending Violence, Empowering Change’.

Detailed information and requirements are provided below in the Call for Proposals: Enhancing the position of women in Serbia to decrease risk of discrimination and gender-based violence, along with the annexes to be completed by CSOs and annexes for further information.

Proposals containing all required application documents must be received by UN Women Office in Serbia at the address grants.serbia@unwomen.org not later than 17.00 (CET) on 21 March 2025.
