Call for Proposals: Support to establishment and or strengthening of Roma and pro-Roma women’s rights civil society networks and platforms

UN Women is inviting Roma women civil society organizations (CSOs), women CSO networks and platforms, representing and promoting Roma women’s rights and working in the area of ending violence against women to submit proposals to strengthen existing networks and platforms, or to establish new ones to strengthen Roma women´s voice and agency to monitor, report on and advocate for the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (also known as Istanbul Convention) and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

Organizations that wish to participate in this Call for Proposals are requested to send all required application documents in one email to eca.evawproject@unwomen.org indicating in the e-mail subject: EVAW - CfP Roma Regional Platform.

By  13 May 2018, 23:00 (Ankara local time)- Extended Deadline. 

Proposals received after the date and time may not be accepted for consideration.

Organizations that have already received financial support within the programme “Implementing Minds, Changing Norms” cannot apply. A single CSO cannot receive more than one grant during the lifetime of the programme “Implementing Minds, Changing Norms&rdquo

UN Women will acknowledge receipt of the applications through a confirmation e‐mail. Only those short listed shall be considered and further contacted.
