Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia national statistics offices pledge greater cooperation

Tbilisi (Georgia) 27 JULY – The heads of the national statistics offices of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan said in a joint statement that they fully supported development of a statistics system and were open to greater cooperation between their national statistics agencies.

To keep Global Goals promise, statisticians call for better gender data

Keeping the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) promise to the women and girls of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia will require gender statistics that are better and more readily available, concluded the participants of a workshop held from 13 to 14 May in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
