The interactive exhibition “Break the Silence: Ending Violence behind Walls” was opened on a central square in the city center of Pristina, Kosovo , on 14th and 15th of June 2019, inviting visitors to break down walls surrounding domestic violence and to reach out to institutions that offer support.

From flash mobs to bicycle races, street marches to art exhibits, and even illuminating landmarks and buildings in orange light, people around the world banded together during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence by “oranging their neighbourhoods.”
