"Her Aftermath" report highlights the needs of civil society organizations (CSOs) and the women and girls that these CSOs serve across the earthquake-affected region in southeastern Türkiye.

The report summarizes UN Women’s key areas of progress and results during the first five months of the full-fledged war in Ukraine. The lives of women and men across Ukraine have been profoundly impacted by the crisis brought on by the escalation to a full-fledged war on 24 February 2022. UN Women acted swiftly to ensure that women and girls affected by the war are supported and that the humanitarian response to the crisis is gender sensitive.

The brief on the "Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian and Host Community Women by Evidence-Based Data and Gender Responsive Support"project created under the Regional Refugee Resilience Plan (3RP) provides information about the project's details.

The brief explains the overall achievements on women, peace and security in Moldova and presents UN Women's work and impact as well as best practices in this area.

The three-year project, "Strengthening civil society capacities and multi-stakeholder partnerships to advance women’s rights and gender equality in Turkey," financed by the European Union, aims to help women’s rights groups, women-led civil society organizations (CSOs) and other relevant rights-based CSOs improve their capacity to influence national and local women’s rights and gender equality agendas.

This publication features the findings of safety audits of public spaces, as well as the results of online surveys and focus group discussions conducted with women from the conflict-affected communities of Soledar and Toretsk in Donetsk region and Novoaidar and Zolote in Luhansk region, in eastern Ukraine.

Following the principle "Nothing about us, without us," this study aims to better understand the capacity of women's organisations in Ukraine as the first step to improving assistance on the promotion of gender equality and women's empowerment. It is designed to create a baseline against which to measure future capacity development efforts. These findings can be used by the civil society, the government stakeholders and the donor community in their planning, coordination and capacity building initiatives.

To bring women’s views and solutions to the forefront of discussions and decisions on COVID-19 response, UN Women initiated rapid consultations with women’s organizations across the Europe and Central Asia region. The consultations provided an opportunity to hear directly about the specific risks and challenges that women and girls face as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic; they also focused on the opportunities and solutions they are providing so that the strategic focus of support can be adjusted in a gender-responsive manner to reflect their differentiated experience.

This report examines the impact of NGO networking on advocacy efforts to promote the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (also known as the Istanbul Convention) in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

Supported by photos, data, infographics, and individual stories of impact, UN Women's Fund for Gender Equality (FGE) annual report presents main aggregated results achieved by its 25 active projects. It highlights the process and outcomes of its fourth grant-making cycle, 2018–2019, a scaling and innovation initiative. Written by experienced female and male NGO activists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, this Annex to the Third Shadow Report details the direct impact of the continuing political and economic crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina on women’s fundamental human rights. Examining enforcement and access to formal legal protection, the Annex includes data and analysis originally not in the Third Shadow Report, with a focus on marginalized women in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
