The guidance provides a research-based analysis of perpetrator programmes in the region or the potential to develop them, within the framework of minimum standards for practice outlined by the European Network for the Work with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence, and the Istanbul Convention. As the first analysis of this kind, the document outlines recommendations for further development of survivor safety-oriented perpetrator programmes, to end violence against women in the region.

This brief presents the key results of the second implementation year of the three-year regional programme ’EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against Gender Stereotypes and Gender-based Violence’, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA.

The Levers of Change: Gender Equality Attitudes Study 2022, is the latest iteration of a bi-annual global study that tracks attitudes towards gender. The study, developed under the leadership of UN Women in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, Kantar, Procter & Gamble and Unilever, examines perceptions across a multitude of areas including leadership and political participation, education, healthcare, the workplace, media representation, marriage and family life, safety and violence, and control over personal decisions.

The "Research study on the perception of men and boys on child, early and forced marriages in Turkey" presents a comprehensive analysis on how men's perceptions and attitudes act as an enabling or preventing factor for child, early and forced marriages. It provides important insights into creating behavioral change, and facilitating stronger engagement of men and boys towards the elimination of child, early and forced marriages and achieving gender equality.

Gender equality and women’s rights are not just women’s issue, it is a human rights issue. Women combat for their rights every day everywhere. But to achieve an equal world for all, men should question power dynamics in their actions and words and take responsibility for change.

This compendium of fatherhood programmes offers good practices from successful Papa Schools around the world. These programmes have achieved positive results in the areas of parenting skills, fathers' engagement in caregiving, parent-child interaction and relationship quality, and violence reduction.
