The Rapid Gender Analysis seeks to draw attention to the gender dynamics in the war in Ukraine—both preexisting and emerging—and draws out recommendations for humanitarian leadership, actors and donors to ensure consideration of the gendered dimensions of risk, vulnerability and capabilities in response and preparedness to this crisis. A regional convening on Afghan women's human rights brought together 37 Afghan women and youth with 14 women experts from Central Asia and other regional leaders advocating for women’s rights and an inclusive Afghanistan. This summary report presents challenges for Afghan women, priorities and practical actions for Central Asia to take to advance women’s rights in Afghanistan, and “Asks” to representatives of the international community.
