Co-led and developed by UN Women on behalf of the Regional Gender Taskforce, this gender brief analyzes the access to employment and livelihoods of refugees from Ukraine and its gendered impacts. This is done through a review of key barriers (women) refugees face to building livelihoods, an identification of good practices adopted thus far, and 38 recommendations for how actors in the humanitarian response can address these barriers moving forward.

Based on monitoring of print media in 2014, this publication gives a comprehensive overview on how Albania’s print media reports on human trafficking of women and girls, a serious concern there. It identifies key issues and offers journalists, media leaders, public institutions, the police and other actors a set of recommendations to improve reporting on trafficking of women and girls and more effectively fight trafficking.
