This training package was created to help healthcare professionals engage with men during pregnancy and childbirth and to promote active fatherhood. Accompanied by slides for use in presentations, and including prenatal visit practice with roleplaying exercises, it is intended to help health providers better engage with fathers.

This compendium of fatherhood programmes offers good practices from successful Papa Schools around the world. These programmes have achieved positive results in the areas of parenting skills, fathers' engagement in caregiving, parent-child interaction and relationship quality, and violence reduction.
