The report is based on the examination of 140 alimony and divorce case files in 11 provinces in Turkey. Discussions on alimony, legislation and doctrine as well as research and data related to those topics were also included in the report to provide a holistic analysis.

In the Western Balkans and Turkey, these services are often missing, and where they do exist, they tend to be poorly implemented. This mapping report identifies the existing services in the region, examines their implementation, and highlights the gaps in service provision.
