IASC Gender Handbook for Humanitarian Action sets out the rationale for integrating gender equality into humanitarian action and provides practical guidance for the implementation across sectors. The handbook is also intended as a resource for gender specialists to support their work in integrating gender equality into humanitarian settings. The handbook is translated into Turkish by UN Women Turkey within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities" funded by the European Union and the Government of Japan.
