WEPs signatory companies are expected to consider their sector, corporate culture, and current situation, in terms of gender equality and impact areas, and develop a solution in line with their targets and necessities. This guide aims to support companies in creating a roadmap for developing solutions in accordance with WEPs. A joint UN Women, FAO and WFP project used letters from rural women in Kyrgyzstan to build a dialogue between them and their local service providers. This examines best practices that arose after project members used the stories in the letters to run campaigns to curb discrimination and violence against women and girls and help them earn economic, political and social rights and increased access to local health care services.
