This publication presents data about general occupational safety and health and sexual harassment in the workplace in Kosovo* including the private and public sector.

This report captures Kosovar citizens’ knowledge of the gender equality legal framework, their perceptions and expectations regarding gender-based roles and behavior at home, and their attitudes towards changing or improving gender equality, violence against women, and domestic violence.

In response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the relatively limited data available, the UN Women Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, through the Making Every Woman and Girl Count global programme, developed a rapid survey assessment tool to assess the gendered impacts of COVID-19 on the main challenges faced by on women and men lives and livelihoods.

The "2018 Public Perceptions of Gender Equality and Violence against Women" Infosheets provide insight of current and dominant attitudes and perceptions (and the factors that influence them) toward gender equality and violence against women at community level in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

The Regional Advocacy Paper provides key policy recommendations that can help countries overcome the existing development bottlenecks and boost the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, leaving no one behind. It is intended to contribute to the development dialogue in the region on the need for integrated and coherent policies based on the principles of national ownership, whole-of-government and whole-ofsociety approaches, and will help accelerate SDG implementation in all countries of the region.

This report presents lessons learned and best practices from the establishment of the Association of Women in the Kosovo Police (AWKP), extensively supported by the UN Women office in Kosovo from 2010 on. Drawing on the AWKP, the report highlights key steps in creating an association of women police. It concludes with recommendations on issues that can emerge during this process.

This report analyses the problems faced by women police officers in Kosovo in the exercise of their professional duties. It looks at relevant legislation and statistics on women’s representation in the Kosovo Police and suggests complementary policies to ensure a future favorable environment for women police officers. In addition, the report discusses the Office for Human Rights and Gender Equality of the Kosovo Police and details its activities.
