Europe and Central Asia Youth Recommendations to CSW70

The document reflects recommendations from youth in the Europe and Central Asia region on ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls. These recommendations emerged from an online consultation organized in November 2025 in preparation for the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70).

The session will convene in New York from 9 to 20 March 2026 under the priority theme “Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers.”

The online youth consultation was organized to make sure the region’s perspectives and realities are well reflected at CSW70, while also serving as a platform for young people to deepen their understanding of women’s access to justice.
