This report provides an in-depth summary of the “Gender-Responsive Economic Recovery: Growing the Economy with Women-Led Businesses” event, held on November 21, 2023, at Hatay EXPO Fair Center. Organized by UN Women Türkiye in partnership with KAGİDER and Hepsiburada, the event focused on empowering women entrepreneurs and cooperatives, especially those affected by the devastating February 2023 earthquakes. The summit, a continuation of the Gender-Responsive Procurement Summit held in October 2022, aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, introduce available support and grant programs, and provide training for success in e-commerce. This report highlights the collaborative efforts of public and private sector stakeholders to foster gender-responsive economic recovery.
