Analysis on Gender and Security in North Macedonia

This report is the result of a short-term analysis of national legislation and policies related to Women, Peace and Security (WPS) within the security sector of North Macedonia. To offer a broader perspective on the situation with gender equalitywithin the security sector in the country, the analysis is supplemented with interviews with relevant stakeholders from security institutions. The purpose of the analysisis to provide an overview of the situation and the progress achieved with gender mainstreaming in the security sector of the Republic of North Macedonia.
