Innovation Report 2020 - 2021
UN Women Europe and Central Asia Regional Office established the Regional Innovation Facility in 2019. Since then, the office has encouraged and pioneered innovation experiments and approaches for gender equality and women's empowerment both internally and externally across the region.
This publication informs about the key innovation activities of UN Women Europe and Central Asia from 2020 to 2021 under the Innovation Facility. The report includes updates from projects developed in the 2019 Ideas Campaign, the Innovation Conversations series and the various experiments developed during the Innovation Labs for Gender Equality. Via these activities, UN Women aims to continue and develop its regional leadership as a knowledge broker on gender equality and women’s empowerment and facilitate the exchange of ideas internally and with partners for effective and sustainable solutions.
