Authors/editor(s): Blagica Petrevski, Despina Tumanoska, Economic Research and Policy Institute - Finance Think

The five gender budget analyses for the Municipalities of Gjorche Petrov, Kochani, Strumica, Sveti Nikole and Veles provide data and evidence on the impact of COVID-19 on gender responsive programmes. The analyses provide policy and budget recommendations to municipalities in engendering the selected local programmes and budgets to better respond to the post-emergency needs of women and men.

This report was produced in the framework of the UN Women project “Promoting gender responsive policies and budgets: Towards transparent, inclusive and accountable governance in the Republic of North Macedonia”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
