For the third time in a row, the Republic of Serbia has published the Gender Equality Index under the headline "Digitalization, future of work and gender equality". As an instrument that monitors the level of gender equality at the level of member states and EU candidates, Index is observing trends through six key domains: labor, money, knowledge, time, power, health, as well two satellite domains: cross-inequalities and violence against women. The index works on the principle of measuring the level of achievement and the gender gap in different areas, using a scale from 1 to 100 - from the lowest to the highest achievements in certain areas. This way Index is providing a view of the effects of different policies or the consequences of the absence of policies and measures in certain areas of gender equality.
