Early Marriage: The Capacity and Knowledge Assessment of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian CSOs

This assessment examines the understanding and knowledge of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian CSOs on law and institutional mechanisms mandated to work with children at risk from early marriages and reported cases in Kosovo. Specifically, the assessment also  evaluates the comprehension of the interviewed NGOs, activists and other CSOs on the Istanbul Convention, CEDAW and other relevant international human rights instruments related to early marriages, forced marriages and Kosovan proceedure. The capacity assessment then drafts a number of recommendations for women NGOs, activists and institutions working and representing young girls in/or at risk of early marriage in addressing the issue in accordance to the international human rights standards and the requirements of Kosovan law.
