Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir, UN Women Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia and Representative to Turkey, went on an official visit to Cyprus on 5 May 2016 to lend UN Women support to local efforts to promote women's rights on the island. During the visit, she particularly emphasized the importance of women's inclusion in the peace talks. More
